A New Trend

Well it would seem that my 9 year old DS has become quite popular at school. The drawcard? Home grown peas fresh in their pods!!!! LOL. It would seem that all his mates want some of his. I nearly fell off the chair in shock as he was telling me how they all beg to share his fresh peas from his lunchbox.

Eat ya heart out Mr Arnott's and Mr Smiths. Peas have overtaken tiny packets of chips in the "cool" stakes! LOL.

P.S. I think I now have Google Reader kind of sorted out and I have managed to scrape a tiny handful of brain cells back from their site (think sweeping glitter up off a table lol). :-)

that's great about the peas ~ my daughter is the same with her celery ~ friends want to eat it and ask her to swap it for their biscuits etc. :)

Kids definitely want what they can't have hey?

I'm sure you'll get the hang of google reader soon.

I planted the peas (well they planted some too) in the hope that it might give them an extra healthy snack to take to school. I never dreamed that other kids would wish they had them too! LOL.

Kin - I think you're right. Kids want what they can't or don't have. Next time my kids complain about the snacks other kids have in their lunchboxes, I'll have to remind them about the peas and that other kids want what they have as well. :-)
